My Music

Ana Otero is a Mystic, Dancer, Author, Yogi, Artist, Songstress, Frame Drummer, Priestess, Mother and Lover to the Beloved. She holds a Ph.D. in Dance Movement Therapy and strongly incorporates embodiment in all of her work. In 2011 after a dark night of the soul she had her first apparition of Mary Magdalene while she was living in the Middle East. Following the teachings given to her by Mary Magdalene through her Channelings and Apparitions, Ana Otero created Mary Magdalene Mystery School in 2014 and offers online and live training, workshops, retreats, and events.

The first time I played the drum was in my Middle Eastern Dance Class with my beloved teacher Myriam Eli. All of our classes included learning how to play finger cymbals and Darbuka. The connection I had with the Darbuka was so strong that I believe in some way it took me to live in the Middle East many years later. In Egypt, I started to become very interested in the Frame Drum and the Tambourine. It all started when I met some amazing Egyptian musicians and we decided to create a performance together. I was the dancer amongst the most amazing musicians I had ever met. It seemed like my childhood longing for me to dance in Egypt was coming true. Little did I know that these musicians were going to teach me so much about life, rhythm, flow, and surrender.

As a trained dancer in the west, I was used to preparing meticulously any type of performance, but every time I would meet with these musicians, they seemed to play the selected songs differently. When I approached them with this they said: but how can we play the same way always if what is important is what we are feeling in the present moment. All must change and when one experience dies it births another.

I think this was my first conscious experience of Creation within Creation. To be present at the moment with music, movement, within such sacred space awakened gifts that I started to remember from past lives. I started incorporating my voice and chanting between the moves, I started drumming, and I even recited poetry. All through the miraculous inspiration of Divine Light pouring through us as we surrendered into the creative channel.

Since that moment my life changed.

In 2019, just before the pandemic, I received a strong message from Mary Magdalene that I needed to expand the teachings of Aramaic through chanting. I was already chanting in Hebrew and some Aramaic, but her message to me was to deepen my practice in the Chanting of this Light Language.

There is so much to say about my experience and everything that has been birthed through these mantras. I think that words are superfluous in explaining the transformation in my life through Aramaic, the Language of Light, so I leave you with these chants that I hope bring you peace, awakening, healing, beauty, expansion, and connection.

The first project I recorded was Voices from Eden. These chants were recorded just with my Frame Drum. The intention was that our Magdalene Community has chants that we sang when we gathered together.

After that first project came to ALAHA. When I recorded ALAHA I knew that part of my Mission was to deliver Aramaic Mantras for chanting as Mary Magdalene clearly revealed through channeled messages that we were to start a practice of ARAMAIC LIGHT LANGUAGE.

My third project, MAGDALENE FREQUENCIES, was very powerful. I chose specific mantras for certain activations and in this work, I include a Pleiadian Light Language Chant.

I am currently working on my fourth project: THE COSMIC MARY.
